Get To Know Tony Hobbes & Son RV

In 1978, Tony Hobbes began a career in the RV and Mobile home industry. After 10 years of service, he then shifted his focus entirely to RV’s. Since then, Tony has been providing RV service to New Bern and surrounding areas for excess of 30 years.

He has seen many changes in RV’s throughout his career. This has trained him to adapt and overcome many different issues found in RV’s of various ages, shapes, styles, and sizes. After many years of working for a local RV center, Tony decided to go into business for himself.

He introduced the industry to his son James when he was just a young boy. James enjoyed working alongside his Dad and learning this trade during the summers and anytime he was out of school. James began as a helping hand to Tony by bringing him tools when needed or simply holding a flashlight for his dad when he would work in small dark spaces found in many RV’s.

In 2005, Tony offered to bring his son into the RV industry along beside him now as a partner instead of just a helping hand. James happily took his dads offer and that is when Tony Hobbes & Son RV was born.

Today they have grown the business together to a level that has far surpassed their expectations. They strive to provide service that is second-to-none and take much pride in the work they do.

As of 2018, James and Tony are still working each day side-by-side, as they have for many years. Tony Hobbes & Son RV is still a family-owned and operated business that concentrates only on repairs and keeping their customers on the road, enjoying quality time with their own families.
